Thanksgiving ’18
On a whim I went to last year’s November folder on my computer because I remembered that I got some good shots on Thanksgiving last year when we were staying at my parent’s house. I loved the images so much that I decided to blog some. Even though I should have been doing three million other things, it was lovely to take a break for a bit and swim in nostalgia. From my dad reading his paper to my mom making her famous sweet potatoes to mom’s many decorations, dad playing the guitar, Grandma Bowen’s jovial presence, the yum dinner togetherness, the cousin band, my children who were much smaller, my brother snoozing on the couch behind the pillows and his daughter coming up and blowing a harmonica right in his ears (oh how I’d wish I’d caught that exact moment). So grateful for these memories. So grateful for sooooo much this year especially. I wanted to blog a lot of recent personal photos and do a gratitude post but it might have to wait until January.
Hope you all have the loveliest coziest Thanksgiving
